Twilight fans around the world are thrilled over the past 3 years since Summit Entertainment have produced movies based on the highly successful 'Twilight Saga' books by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight followers are especially looking forward to the Eclipse DVD release date.

Stephenie Meyer wrote four books in the 'Twilight Saga' series - 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse' and 'Breaking Dawn'. Motion pictures have so far been produced from the first three books, breaking box office records in their dramatic releases.
The fourth book, 'Breaking Dawn' has an extended, more complex story line and so Summit Entertainment has decided to make two movies out of 'Breaking Dawn'. 'Breaking Dawn' part 1 will be released in the theaters on November 18th 2011. 'Breaking Dawn Part 2' will probably be released 12 months later on November 16th 2012. The next extremely anticipated date for Twilight fans is the Eclipse DVD release date. Along with the release day for Eclipse DVD will come Eclipse DVD release day events at major DVD outlets. Those have become quite popular, with guest appearances being made by some of the cast and crew of the Twilight motion pictures.
Like the first two Twilight DVD's, the Eclipse DVD will also include exclusive bonuses, being sold as a 2-disc special edition. A top favorite bonus this time is a commentary with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Stephenie Meyer, amongst other added features.
Many followers wonder if there will be any more Twilight motion pictures to come. At this stage it seems that the 2 Breaking Dawn movies would be the last as it is the last book in the Twilight series. There was an additional novella written by Stephenie Meyer, but whether any further motion pictures for Twilight will be produced beyond Breaking Dawn is unknown at this phase.
